Nagra, NOS kick off campaign to prevent Benfica football piracy

Content protection and multiscreen television solutions provider Nagra and NOS have announced plans to step up the fight against broadcast and streaming piracy of Benfica football league matches.

The leading operator in Portugal, NOS owns the rights to Benfica games and the distribution rights for the Benfica TV channel and will now use Nagra’s Anti-Piracy Services solution to fight threats such as control-word sharing and streaming piracy of Benfica content across the web, social media and illegal IPTV services.
