Cinedigm to launch digital-first network CONtv on Oona TV

TV content, channels and services provider Cinedigm has teamed with global distribution company JungoTV to launch its fandom-focused digital-first channel CONtv on the Indonesian mobile platform Oona TV.

CONtv provides audiences access to content showcasing a catalogue spanning elusive cult films and television shows, to celebrated genre movies encompassing sci-fi, horror, fantasy, anime, grindhouse, and martial arts action.

It will now be available as an advertising video-on-demand (AVOD) offering, in a distribution deal that gives Oona TV’s 135 million users access to the channel’s extensive library of carefully curated content. Also, in a separate deal, Oona TV will be the first to launch JungoTV’s Front Row channel, a 24/7 digital network that features concerts from the global contemporary music artists in rock, pop and hip hop.
