SFR kicks off Sony PS4 sports app for subscribers

Multiscreen expert Wiztivi has collaborated with RMC to create the OTT RMC Sport TV app for French pay-TV subscribers, available now Sony PlayStation 4.

RMC built the app using Wiztivi’s SDK. From the RMC SPORT app, SFR subscribers fixed line, mobile or OTT subscribers have access to five (and up to 11 with add-ons) live RMC Sports channels. It includes a horizontal navigation electronic programming guide; and, subscribers can access trending topics in the A La Une section.

The service includes a restart feature for subscribers to be able to watch a programme up to eight hours after its broadcast. In future releases, the ‘expert zone’ will enrich the user’s TV experience during football games with a timeline made up with videos of the match highlights, line-ups, matches facts, live scores and tables.
