QVC2 launches on DTT in Germany

Home-shopping broadcaster QVC is now also distributing its spin-off channel QVC2 via DTT in Germany.
Like the other shopping channels QVC, HSE24, 1-2-3.tv and Freenet Shopping as well as the Christian family channel Bibel TV, QVC2 is transmitted in the so-called qHD format (“quarter HD”), which corresponds to a quarter of the HD resolution.
The six qHD channels can be received unencrypted on the DVB-T2/HEVC transmitter network distributing commercial TV channel platform Freenet TV.
