Hi guyz, i have a problem with my receiver, before i upgraded it was fine but after i downloaded the upgrade patch and install it on my receiver, it did not restart again, in short it is now DEAD..!!!!!!, guys help me, am in East africa,(my receiver model is Strong SRT4652, i wa using it as FTA receiver, i never use it for pay tvs)

I have a similar problem with my receiver STR 46663X, after installing an update it didn't restart. I have downloaded the firmware SRT4661X_4664X_MyTV_138p_20091012.stb and SRTLoader_Software_Uploaders. Can someone, please, give me the steps I should follow to revive my reciver.

reload the original firmware b4 patching it again,wait till the downloading completes b4 u unplug ok, good luck

1. Try to get any firmware of your reciver from the forum
2. make sure you get SRT Loader install it to your system
3. Get SRT cable and connect it from Computer to your Reciever and load the firmware
4. Or simply copy from your decoder model with SRT Cable

I hope your reciever is still on?. and I hope is not Fake . If yes tijjays Is very simple try to get
1. Data transfer Cable get your Decoder Model Plug them on power
2. Copy from the other Reciever to your own. That is all

When Reciever have a problem and dont boot again and so dont

accept any patch you can use this boot file then put new patch into

Reciever.

Great job TOP.GUN for the explanation, i have been seeing the boot files but don't know the usage. Pls am using srt4669x and srt4910, please if the boot files are available kindly send them.
