US premium cable network Showtime has promoted executives Gary Levine and Jana Winograde the roles of co-president of entertainment.
The two will be responsible for developing and supervising Showtime programming across all genres as well as working closely on all programming-related matters with the network's marking, creative, digital media, acquisitions and entertainment communications departments.
Levine joined Showtime in 2001 as head of original programming, and Winograde joined the premium network in 2017 as president of business operations for the West Coast.
“Gary and Jana are peerless in their roles ... both command great respect from their colleagues inside and outside the company, and they have been key in driving our growth,” said David Nevins, creative officer of CBS and chairman and CEO of Showtime. “As we invest more deeply in creating world class content for our audiences, this new structure positions us strongly for the future of our business.”
