NENT beefs award season offer with Prime programming

LA/Paris-based producer and distributor Prime Entertainment Group has announced a major package deal for more than 60 new episodes of its Hollywood-related series with Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT).

Since it came into corporate life jut under a year ago, the Nordic broadcaster has spent the last few months building up its sporting portfolio. Its IPTV and broadband service in the Nordic region offers family TV entertainment in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland through its pay-TV network as well as it’s 12 free TV channels, Viaplay streaming service and SVOD offer. It has now inked a deal including the new 2019 season of the behind the scenes series Hollywood On Set (52 x 26’) per year and 14 new episodes of the actors’ portraits series Stars! (105 x 4’).

Commenting on the deal, Prime managing director David Freydt said: “We are truly glad to work with NENT Group during its transition as the most important television network in the Nordic region. It has been more than eight years since we’ve started working together with the Viasat channels in the Baltics and Balkan regions and it’s a great satisfaction for us to be working with Nordic Entertainment Group and to reinforce our presence in the territory with the high-quality entertainment programmes that they need.”
