OSN to offer free live stream of Oscar nominee announcement

OSN is providing Middle East movie fans with a free live stream to watch as the nominations for this year’s Academy Awards are announced on Tuesday (22 January).

The films in the running this year for Hollywood’s most prestigious awards will be unveiled live from 4.20 KSA time, and can be seen across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) at .

With Oscar fever mounting, OSN is also set to air classic Academy Award winning films, including Forrest Gump, The Darkest Hour, La La Land and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri on its channel OSN Movies HD every evening from 8pm (KSA) from 1 February until the award ceremony on 25 February.

OSN Platinum subscribers can also access a dedicated Oscar pop-up channel from 15-25 February, offering up to 70 Academy Award winning movies.

Oscar season will culminate in the region on 25 February 2019, when OSN will bring live coverage of the 91st Academy Awards Ceremony from Los Angeles to customers across MENA.

All the Hollywood glamour, from red carpet arrival to emotional acceptance speeches, will be broadcast on OSN Movies HD and OSN Yahala Cinema.
