Mediapro distribution arm seals key sales

Imagina International Sales, Mediapro Group’s international distribution company, has inked new deals for various titles from its catalogue with leading networks and platforms in Europe.
The agreements include several sales made in the territories of former Yugoslavia and Eastern Europe. Nit i Dia, the series produced by Mediapro for TV3, has been acquired by DEXIN for the above territories, a company that has also acquired Un Paso Adelante (AKA One Step Forward), a Globomedia programme that has conquered over 60 countries in its international run.
Imagina has also closed a sale for this territory on the Russian series Catherine the Great, produced by Mars Media, and it has also concluded business with the distributor Stars-Media which has confirmed the sale to channels Cinemania and Top Channel in Serbia, 1TV in Macedonia and RTV Montenegro.
Additionally, Imagina has also renewed a sale on the fifth season of Los Serrano production company Emotion and broadcast on the PRVA channel. This comedy was produced by Globomedia.
Other agreements include a format option for the 100 Balas (Mediapro Group) comedy Olmos and Robles, acquired by ICTV of Ukraine, which was broadcast locally during prime time by TVE.
and in Lithuania they already enjoy the adaptation of the legendary Globomedia series 7 Vidas (AKA 7 Lives), broadcast on TV3 Lithuania, while in Poland they already enjoy the Mars Media fiction "Rasputin" on Viasat.
The Spanish version of TVE series Seis Hermanas/Six Sisters, produced by Bambú Producciones, has been acquired by TVR of Romania and BTV of Bulgaria through A TO Z Distribution, as well as Duna and M2 in Hungary through Daydreamers Worldwide Entertainment. GPB channel has acquired the series for the territory of Georgia.
Other deals for Imagina include sales made to France, where Montblanc TV has acquired rights for the Spanish version of the reality adventure show El Conquistador del Aconcagua produced by Hostoil (Mediapro Group) for ETB while Globomedia series Estoy Vivo broadcast on TVE has closed a deal on its format with Mediapro France and Chabraque Productions, who have joined forces for a possible adaptation for France. Garbo Produzioni has also acquired an option on the same series for Italy.
