Bpifrance reduces Eutelsat holding

Bpifrance has sold part of its stake in Eutelsat Communications.
The former Fonds Stratégique d’Investissement has sold 6.67% of its capital in the satellite operator for a return of €285 million. 15.5 million shares were sold via a private placement.
Following the transaction Bpifrance will hold 19.8% of the capital in the Paris-based satellite operator. It will also reduce the number of board members from three to two.
