Hot on the heels of its yearly results showing the positive contribution that its on-demand service is having, STV has confirmed two new partnerships with international content providers for its STV Player service.
In 2018 STV announced a new strategic growth plan for the business, creating a dedicated digital division to drive growth through the STV Player and deliver a personalised STV for everyone. The new partnerships with Flame Distribution and Jukin Media to provide additional programming and choice for viewers as its video-on-demand service continues to expand.

Flame Distribution is an international distributor of factual, unscripted and documentary content representing more than 140 independent producers from around the world. Programmes which will air on STV Player include Recipes That Rock and Grand Tours of Scotland.
“Flame and Jukin Media offer hugely popular programming and content, and we are delighted that, through these partnerships, we are able to further enhance our offering to STV viewers,” commented Richard Williams, STV’s managing director, digital.
