Saran strikes exclusive Turkish rights deal for MotoGP

Saran Media has acquired the exclusive Turkish audio visual broadcast rights to the 2019, 2020 and 2021 seasons of FIM MotoGP World Championships.

The new package will cover all events of the MotoGP, Moto 2 and Moto classes for what Saran says is all available means of TV distribution, including online and mobile transmissions, broadcast on its pay-TV channel S Sport.

The channel was launched in March 2017 as 24/7 premium sports channel, broadcasting top sports content including MotoGP, Premier League football, NBA, Formula 1 racing, UFC, WWE and ATP 500 along other premium programming.

At present, S Sport reaches a subscriber base of over 5.5 million. The channel is currently being carried on the four major Turkish pay-TV platforms including Digiturk, DSmart, Turkcell TV+ and Turk Telekom.
