Foxxum inks partnership deal with BOE

In a move that it says takes worldwide smart TV experiences to a new circle of end consumers, smart TV solutions Foxxum has announced high-end TV panels and TV sets maker BOE as its latest partner.

The Foxxum app store features global and local apps and customisable interfaces and designs and with BOE’s experience in the semiconductor display industry and its own expertise in the smart TV, Foxxum says the two companies will use their partnership to deliver best in class smart TV worldwide.

The app store will be available on Linux and AOSP OS based devices.

“Our intention is to further expand our business and maintain best possible Smart solutions to our customers,” said Cheng Gang VP, intelligent manufacturing service business group CEO of BOE. “Having the chance to work with the Foxxum app store will further enhance our offering, succeed our own high-quality standards and moreover satisfy todays market’s demands in Smart TV.”
