The US Spanish-language cable network Cine Mexicano has added two films starring Mexican actor Flavio Penicheto its repertoire.

Peniche, whose career spans almost 30 years, recently appeared in the telenovelas Señora Acero, Enemigo Intimo and La Querida del Centauro. The actor is part of a well-known family of celebrities, including his brother and star of telenovelas Arturo Peniche, and his nephew Brandon Peniche, who won recognition in 2012 for his role as a quadriplegic in A Refuge for Love.

The actor was also involved in a tragic accident in 2003 when he shot and killed actor Antonio Velasco during the filming of a film, not knowing that the weapon was loaded with real bullets instead of blanks. The actor has been exonerated from all charges.

In Sublime Symphony, a professional pianist writes a melody that throws her into stardom. Her new fame transports her into a subculture of fantasy, deception and ‘unbridled passions.’

Extortion for Pleasure and Money meanwhile is the story of a corrupt politician named Junior who uses all the criminal schemes at his disposal to destroy anyone who opposes his insatiable desires for power. But certain erotic weaknesses put all their plans at risk. Meanwhile, Claudio is a young man who reveals evidence that can stop the Junior once and for all – but then he discovers that the woman he loves is part of Junior's malevolent organization.

Cine Mexicano is part of the Olympusat family of channels in the US and is available via most major cable providers.
