909 takes over 330 hours from Prime

LA/Paris-based distributor and producer Prime Entertainment Group has inked a distribution deal with 909 Productions for the exclusive worldwide distribution of more than 330 hours of programmes from its catalogue.

909 Productions is one of the leading Paris based producers of television entertainment and works with major broadcasting groups including Canal +, France Télévisions, Disney, M6, NRJ and TF1.

The shows that it will take from Prime were originally produced for France Télévisions, RMC Découverte, Ushuaïa and Planète + among others and cover genres such as lifestyle, reality, crime, documentary series and one-offs. It includes the show Travel & Delights (66x26’) presented by the renowned chef Kelly Rangama, shown on France Télévisions; the reality show Las Vegas Academy (36x28’); the travel show My Authentic Travels (10x52’) and several documentary series and specials such as Story of Electricity (2x70’).

“We have been very aggressive in terms of [our] programmes’ acquisitions and today we are proud to provide a catalogue of more than 6,000 hours of high-quality programmes to a large panel of prime broadcasters,” remarked Prime MD David Freydt. “This new deal signed with our partner 909 Productions is a great start in 2019 and we’ll be premiering all the shows at the next MIPTV market.”
