STARZPLAY expands Spanish reach with Vodafone

Only days after announcing the entry into Spain of its premium streaming service STARZPLAY with Orange TV, content provider Starz has inked a similar deal with rival operator Vodafone.

The STARZPLAY catalogue includes full seasons of award-winning and critically-acclaimed series to watch on-demand and simultaneous premieres with the US.

All STARZPLAY Original Series and movies will now be included in Serielovers pack of Vodafone TV, which said the content firm consolidates the platform as the
series curation leader in the market.

Among the premium content available exclusively on STARZPLAY is hit series Power, a drama that straddles the glamorous Manhattan lifestyles of the rich and infamous and the underworld of the international drug trade. The cast is led by Omari Hardwick as James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a man trying to escape his role as a drug kingpin for a straight life in the elite of NYC.

Other series include Now Apocalypse (pictured), The White Princess or The Firsts. These will be followed by the full upcoming second season of the original series Vida, that will debut day-and-date with the US on 23 May. New film and series will be also added to the service throughout the month of April.
