HBO Asia has been offering a plethora of entertainment for Game of Thrones fans during the eighth and final season of the multi-Emmy award winning TV show.

In addition to HBO Signature becoming a channel dedicated to the fantasy drama, with box sets of previous seasons and behind-the-scenes footage, cinema screenings were held of the opening episode of season eight in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

In Hong Kong, a Game Of Thrones Mobile Truck, complete with Iron Throne, roamed the streets of Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay during March. Fans had the opportunity to take a photo on the Iron Throne and win prizes.

Then, the Iron Throne and a life-sized Viserion dragon were displayed at Cityplaza from 10-23 April. Fans could also take photos at the interactive augmented reality (AR) Night King photo zone.

Also in April, an Ice Dragon exhibition graced Indonesia’s Kota Kasablanka Mall, Food Society Atrium, where fans could take photos with the Iron Throne and an Ice Dragon, as well as dress up as Game of Thrones characters.

Bookstore and brand promotions have also been explored by HBO Asia as the final battle for Westeros commenced.
