5G, UHD star at Forum Lucca 2019

The Digital European Forum is celebrating its sixteenth edition at its traditional home in Lucca from 6–7 June.

The previous editions have seen 590 speakers representing 42 countries, 4,140 delegates and 852 European companies created what organiser Comunicare Digitale says has been a high-level think tank with professional networking, always full of absolute sneak peeks for the industry.

The 2019 edition is said to mark a further leap forward in themes, speakers and new scenarios and with feature topics including 5G, Ultra HD, SAT, streaming, OTT, piracy and copyright, mergers and global media, VR / AR, NGX and the next switch off.

The event also sees the renewal of the collaboration with UHD Forum Italia, the main production chain association of the Italian industry, which brings together the leading TV, media and technology companies, in view of the release of the new UHD BOOK v.1.0.1.
