The third season of The Handmaid’s Tale will premiere with three episodes on 6 June in Asia, exclusively on subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) platform HBO Go.
A new episode of the award-winning show will be streamed every subsequent Thursday. A box set of the two previous series will be available on the SVOD platform, along with HBO On Demand.

The drama series, based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, is the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly part of the United States. Facing environmental disasters and a plunging birthrate, Gilead is ruled by a twisted fundamentalism regime that treats women as property of the state.
The third season of The Handmaid’s Tale, sees June (Elizabeth Moss) continuing to resist Gilead, in which she finds herself once again after opting not to flee to Canada with her baby. HBO promises she will struggle to fight back against the regime against “overwhelming odds” in a season characterised by reunions, betrayals and a “journey to the terrifying heart of Gilead”.
Created for television by Bruce Miller, the season’s other executive producers are Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, Eric Tuchman, Mike Barker, John Weber, Frank Siracusa, Sheila Hockin.
The Handmaid’s Tale is produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM.
