Apple TV adds ShemarooME app

ShemarooMe, the over-the-top (OTT) service from Indian content house Shemaroo Entertainment, is now available on Apple TV.

The alliance with Apple enables Shemaroo to expand its reach and provide an enhanced viewing experience via an app for Apple TV users.

The Shemaroo content library comprises Bollywood, Gujarati, Punjabi, Devotional, Regional, Kids, Contemporary and Classic titles with mass appeal. All will be available on demand via the ShemaroMe app.

ShemarooMe gives the consumer the freedom to pick and choose the categories of content and pay for them separately. Introductory pricing for individual category plans cost INR 49 per month or INF 499 per year. The all-access plans cost INR 129 a month or INR 999a year.

Consumers can download the ShemarooMe OTT app from Google Play, iOS App store or online.

The move follows the launch in April of **ShemarooME in the US.
