NEP Switzerland deploys Net Insight Nimbra for media transport

The Swiss subsidiary of outsourced production services provider NEP is to deploy a Net Insight Nimbra-based network for transporting professional live media over the internet.

NEP Switzerland is a leader in supporting premier content producers of live sports, entertainment, music and corporate events. Net Insight’s media transport will now see use for professional live content and the transport firm will build a fully redundant solution in event activities to locations where fibre or satellite uplinks are either not available or cost prohibitive. The infrastructure will be delivered in the second quarter of 2019 and is slated to be operational at the end of July.
