Hackstack TV expands local news coverage to 85% of US

Silicon Valley-based streaming service Haystack TV has added 39 local U.S. TV affiliates from Gray Television to its OTT footprint of local news coverage.

HaystackTV is now reaching 85% of local news markets, including large metropolitan areas like Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, and also smaller markets such as Omaha, Neb; Mobile, Ala; and Fort Myers, Fla.

“HaystackTV has become a great solution for cord-cutters looking to get local news,” said Haystack TV co-founder Ish Harshawat. “With the addition of the additional stations from Gray Television we’re excited to connect more connected-TV users with high-quality, trusted news from their communities.”
