Globo re-ups Madonna doc deal with Prime

Producer and distributor Prime Entertainment Group has renewed a deal with Brazilian content Globosat for the documentary, the True Story of Madonna, in its home territory.

The documentary features many never-seen-before archival footage, and exclusive interviews of the pop icon’s entourage and specialists. The programme reveals the personality and her journey to success with unique insights into her life.

“Globosat are great clients; we have been working with them since 2011 for our Hollywood and celebrity shows,” said Alexandra Marguerite, head of sales at Prime. “We are truly glad to be increasing our presence in the Latin American territory with our wide offer of quality shows that satisfy the major TV stations in the region.”

The distributor has grown an important presence in Latin America in these last few years working with such channels as Bandeirantes in Brazil for cultural shows, as well as with FOX Latin America, Paramount, Claro Sports and AMC Latin America among others.
