Hi guys,

I am a total beginner but am really keen to learn about Metabox.

i have an e_metabox 1 at home, it is about 5 years old and I was using it to view AsiaSat3 (I live in New Zealand). About 12 months ago it stopped recieving all channels and recently i have decided to stop procrastinating and get it working again. My questions are:

- No doubt i have old software loaded, can someone please tell me how to load/update new software?
- what cables, software do i need? and can someone please attach it to any reply.
- There is a new satellite (Asiasat4) available but is not listed in the recievers list. How can i add this?
- What is the difference between Dreamsoft and Metadream?

Some other problems i am having are:

- Unable to locate any satellite even though i know i am point in teh right direction (orange quality bar is stuck on 78% and wont go green???). I have bought a new LNB and will try this.

basically i am a novice and any help will be much appreciated.
