As it celebrates the anniversary of the flagship programmes, Pluto TV is to introduce curated linear channels in Germany and Austria for the unique Pluto TV environment drawn from parent Viacom’s entertainment brand portfolio.
Highlights of the new offer are Pop-Up channels for Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary, a reboot of California-based reality show The Hills and a channel dedicated entirely to MTV’s hit show Teen Mom.
The special pop-up channel dedicated to the SpongeBob SquarePants 20th anniversary features back-to-back episodes from the first five seasons in Bikini Bottom for what Pluto TV calls “non-stop streaming fun”. The Pop-Up channel for The Hills brings back classic episodes of the sun-drenched drama to relive the best moments and catch up before the return of the iconic series.
“We are celebrating two major series events with The Hills and SpongeBob SquarePants coming to Pluto TV,” said company managing director Europe Olivier Jollet. “Both hit shows are truly an asset to our line-up, with their fascinating and inspiring charm appealing to our audiences’ nostalgia, serving the perfect mix to binge-watch.”
