Telemundo Noticias preps Puerto Rico political special

Noticias Telemundo announced plans to broadcast of Puerto Rico, ¿y ahora qué?, (Puerto Rico – What’s Next?) a special programme about the recent crisis in Puerto Rico and the island’s future, this Friday, 2 August.

Puerto Rico, ¿y ahora qué? will air live on Telemundo, at on NoticiasTelemundo.com, and on Noticias Telemundo’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitter pages. Noticias Telemundo anchor José Díaz-Balart and senior correspondent Vanessa Hauc will moderate the discussion from Telemundo Center and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

“As Puerto Rico undergoes this moment of profound transformation, Noticias Telemundo continues to be at the heart of the action to understand the direction it is taking,” said Leticia Herrera, VP, Special Programme, Noticias Telemundo.

The co-host of Un Nuevo Día, Adamari López, will also contribute a report about the role in the protests of stars such Ricky Martin, Residente, Luis Fonsi and Nicky Jam.
