It also sees the return to the south Liverpool venue of Echo & The Bunnymen whose 1982 gig at the then Larks In The Park is part of local music folklore.

The coverage will be presented by hosts Becca Dudley, Jack Saunders and Snoochie Shy. In addition, MTV will also produce MTV Live From Fusion Festival 2019 Weekender, which will consist of 12 x 30-minute standalone shows with individual artists and an hour-long highlights special, airing later in the year.

“Fusion Festival is a staple of the summer festival season, representing the very best in British pop music and big name international acts,” said Jeremy Davies, director of music, commissioning and development, MTV UK. “Music is part of our DNA at MTV, so we’re delighted to be broadcasting such a fantastic array of talent to our fans throughout the summer.”
