Aiming to improve multi-platform production and distribution workflow efficiencies, Austria’s leading private broadcaster is to deploy the Dalet Galaxy five media asset management (MAM), workflow orchestration and editorial platform.
ProSiebenSat.1 PULS 4 is home to hits such as Austria’s Next Top Model, the UEFA Europa League and international sports coverage such as National Football League and thematic news, talk and show programmes. It has a rapidly growing pool of content that needs to be centralised and enriched with metadata. This means that it needs tools which enable its worker to search, prepare and distribute that content with ease.
Aiming to be a central part in the revamp of its media operations, Dalet says that the deployment of its technology will equip the broadcaster with a state-of-the-art media production workflow that realigns production and delivery to optimise cross-functional team collaboration and multi-platform content output across its PULS 4, ATV and ATV 2 channels.
Facilitating these needs, combined with managing a much higher output of programme and news content to digital platforms, is what ProSiebenSat.1 PULS 4 expects to accomplish with the move to Dalet Galaxy five.
“The Dalet Galaxy five core media asset management and orchestration capabilities will free our users from many manual processes and technical duties that currently weigh them down. It will enable them to reach a higher level of collaboration, giving them more time to focus on the project at hand,” explained ProSiebenSat.1 PULS 4 project manager Tobias Stößel.
