Telefónica votes for Albalá in Catalonian parliament

As part of its contract to supply audiovisual systems in a renovation contract for the Catalonian Parliament, Telefónica has selected broadcast infrastructure equipment from Albalá Ingenieros.

This equipment will be used for renovation of the audiovisual installations of the sessions hall and other rooms of the Catalonian parliament for broadcasting audio and video in high definition. The modular infrastructure equipment will see use for the generation and distribution of sync signals as well as signal switching.

The implementation includes modules for a logo inserter for use with 3G/HD/SD-SDI digital video; sync and test signal generator with two independent digital outputs and one analogue output, advanced Ethernet communications controller with software option; HD and SD analogue video distributor with one loop-through input and ten outputs; a frequency pattern generator referenced to either GNSS or IEEE 1588 with software option.

The implementation of its infrastructure technology at the Catalan parliament is the latest that Albalá Ingenieros has provided for projects by Telefónica for various public administrations.
