YouSee adopts AI for on-demand via Media Distillery

Danish service provider YouSee has turned to Media Distillery’s artificial intelligence platform to improve the television on-demand experience.
Using real-time analysis across multiple channels, EPG Correction from Media Distillery provides automatic adjustments to update the actual start and end time of television programmes as they are broadcast, so that users can navigate programmes to provide a more compelling user experience. For YouSee, Media Distillery will also identify the true end times of TV-programmes, enabling a complete and smarter programme guide for subscribers.
Media Distillery systems uses AI to identify and label features in audio-visual media automatically, enabling television and video service providers to enhance the presentation of programmes and offer a better viewing experience that meets the expectations of viewers.
YouSee is rolling out the Media Distillery technology in phases across 130 television channels and 1.2 million Danish households.
