Jason Derulo to host and perform at Kids’ Choice Awards Abu Dhabi 2019

Global music superstar Jason Derulo has been confirmed as one of the performers and co-host along with Travel YouTuber Haifa Beseisso at Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Abu Dhabi 2019.

The event is coming to the Middle East for the first time on 20 September at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Kids and their families will be also able to enjoy three days with their favourite Nickelodeon characters at The World of Nickelodeon. The line-up will feature international and regional musical and entertainment performances, as well as of Nickelodeon’s trademark green slime, while, at the same time, giving young fans the power to vote for their favourite artists and talent across a wide range of categories.

With 15 billion streams worldwide and 17 multi-platinum singles, US singer and songwriter Derulo is famed for chart-topping hits including Swalla, Stupid Love, Want to Want Me and his latest track Mamacita featuring Farruko. “I’m honoured to be hosting the first Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in Abu Dhabi!” he remarked. “We’ve got a thrilling show planned, and I can’t wait to be on stage celebrating with the kids. It’s going to be a great event.”

Beseisso, who uses her channel Fly With Haifa to show her travels around the world and break cultural stereotypes, added: “Super excited to be on that stage, share some serious love, colour, slime and just have a fantastic time at the first Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in the Middle East! We’re going to have fun, Arab Style.”
