Indonesia’s Mola TV has selected London-based sports specialists Input Media to produce the studio content of the broadcaster’s live Premier League football coverage.
Mola TV, which holds the broadcast rights for the Premier League in Indonesia, will broadcast live matches on both Saturdays and Sundays, with InputTV providing the studio-based wrap-around shows, as well as the gallery and necessary production staff.
Input Media’s video wall allows a live feed of a beauty camera from different Premier League stadiums to be displayed behind the studio guests, enabling an easy location switch when presenting back-to-back live matches from different grounds, the company said. In addition, the technology used offers 4K quality and minimal bezel space showing.
“We are delighted to be working with Mola TV and producing their live Premier League programming,” said Neil Oughton, MD, Input Media . “It is testament to our investment in a new studio that has helped us win this business and all of us at Input Media will do all we can to help support Mola TV with its football strategy.”
News of the production deal for the Indonesian broadcaster follows the recent acquisition by Input Media’s parent company, Gravity Media, of Sydney-based Chief Entertainment fromTelstra earlier this month.
