The production and distribution arm of pay-TV giant Sky, Sky Vision, has signed a partnership agreement with hotel-focused B2B content supplier Techlive International to provide a library of dramas, documentaries and lifestyle programmes to the latter’s Airtime streaming service platform.
Airtime is claimed to be one of the fastest growing in-room entertainment APPs for the hospitality industry featuring the latest multi-language films from Universal, Paramount, DreamWorks and Disney. Techlive now provides this content in over 45 countries.
“We are delighted to partner with Sky Vision and add to our expanding portfolio. Sky Vision has a plethora of outstanding content and have collaborated with leading production companies around the world, and with that, brings exciting and original content that has now become some of the most watched content on the planet,” commented Techlive director of operations Richard Excell. “We are excited to be able to offer a continually growing platform to give Sky Vision a global hospitality audience.”
Sky Vision sales executive Ismael Ramiro added: “At Sky Vision, we are absolutely thrilled to team up with Techlive in order to expand the reach of the titles distributed by Sky Vision, across drama and comedy, along with factual and entertainment, so that the content can be enjoyed by users of Airtime across the world. This is the start of a magnificent fruitful relationship between the companies.”
