Tellyo bowls cloud-based cricket platform for Sunset+Vine

Global sports content producer Sunset+Vine has revealed that it has made use of the Tellyo cloud-based live video production suite during the recent Cricket World Cup and T20 matches.
With its broadcast technology, Sunset+Vine was able to create packages of highlights of game and livestreams were ingested into the Tellyo Pro platform, where its digital production team used Tellyo’s editor to provide instant clips for cricket fans globally.
During the 2019 Test match, clips achieved more than 400 million impressions and more than 100 million views. The most popular Test match clip, on 21 August generated 11.3 million views and 164,000 engagements. The most popular overall T20 clip, on 13 August yielded 15.3 million views with 80,000 engagements.
“Tellyo gave us the speed of deployment and reliability we require, especially when covering so many fixtures for the [cricket governing body] ECB,” said David Stranks, executive producer digital at Sunset+Vine. “The Tellyo team has helped us immensely by developing adaptations within their infrastructure to meet our requirements, ensuring that we continue to reach global cricket fans and drive greater engagement with ECB video content.”
Tellyo also works closely with Sunset+Vine’s various sports productions, including Crufts, Super League Triathlon, the World Boxing Super Series and the Hong Kong World Sixes as well as the Cricket World Cup. “Over the last year, we’ve continued to work in close partnership with Sunset+Vine to develop our platform and assist in delivering each of their client’s visions,” added Tellyo CEO Richard Collins. “Sunset-Vine’s digital team were the first to use our data-driven smart editor to automate video clip production, speeding up workflows and ensuring that ECB clips continue to reach cricket fans
