Content creation and management solutions systems architect and ICT integrator Qvest Media has integrated its multi-cloud management platform Qvest.Cloud with Avid Media Composer | Cloud VM and Avid NEXIS Cloud.
The combination of Qvest.Cloud with the Avid solutions is designed to provide end-users with greater flexibility for global collaboration and unlimited scalable production capabilities. It means that a ready-to-use post-production infrastructure, based on virtualised Avid | NEXIS storage systems that runs on Microsoft Azure and Avid Media Composer | Cloud VM are now available on Qvest.Cloud.
Avid’s applications are available as part of the post-production package Q.Create and offer flexible deployment models for Avid end users. They are designed to provide news editors, cutters and video artists with working freedom allowing teams to access and edit media assets with a browser. Q.Create is pre-integrated and hosted and, says Qvest Media requires no large upfront IT investment or long-term commitment.
Software licences for Avid editing seats or production capacities can be scaled up and down for short contract periods. Qvest Media is also authorised to perform all necessary license management for required Avid products.
“Since we became an Avid Certified Cloud Partner at NAB Show in April 2019, we have been highly motivated to integrate Avid’s cloud solutions with Qvest.Cloud. Thanks to the close and fast collaboration between Avid’s and our cloud experts,” explained Qvest Media CTO Thomas Müller.
“We’re pleased to collaborate with Qvest Media to help more content creators capitalise on Avid’s open tools and solutions in cloud-based workflows to become more efficient, collaborative and deliver their best work,” added Craig Dwyer, vice president, global cloud and SaaS practice at Avid.
