In the latest part of its expansion plan that has seen the pre-schoolers’ subscription video-on-demand service become present in more than 20 countries worldwide, Swedish production company Miniteve is now available in the US on Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Xfinity Flex bundles.
The launch marks the first time Miniteve’s, educational and entertaining content developed with child experts is available in the US and X1 and Flex customers now have access to Miniteve’s short form mini documentaries which are designed to stimulate curiosity and recognition and covering topics such as animals, vehicles and playtime.
Xfinity Flex is Comcast’s recently launched service for Internet-only customers that enables them to enjoy streaming entertainment experiences on the big screen, while also offering them a TV-connected device to manage their digital home.
“To premiere in the US on Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Xfinity Flex is of course fantastic. We are very happy that our quality approved content will reach new families in the US and hope that we will be as well received as in all of our other markets,” remarked Miniteve CEO and founder Henry Chu.
