Continuing a weekend of carriage deals, Viacom International Media Networks has picked up a package of more than 120 episodes of series from Paris/Los Angeles-based producer/distributor Prime Entertainment Group for over 20 countries in the Middle East and North America.
The licensed series will be aired on the Paramount Channel and the bouquet includes 75 episodes of Prime’s latest production Spotlight (250 x 2’30”) and 52 episodes of Prime’s best seller Hollywood On Set (52 x 26’) per year.
In 2017 Paramount Channel launched in the MENA region with a package from Prime’s cinema related catalogue including not just Hollywood On Set 52x26’ per year but also Zoom In (104 x 6’30”) per year and Stars (105 x 4’). A year later, the network additionally signed up for a new package of episodes from Hollywood On Set (pictured) along with Prime’s entertainment show Ultimate Countdown (13 x 45’) and an important range of exclusive interviews from Director’s Short Cut (250 x 4’) series.
“It’s a true satisfaction for us to be working with Viacom again. Paramount Channels have been great partners for many years now,” remarked Prime’s head of sales Alexandra Marguerite.”
Many of them were launched with our series and they kept on coming back for more of our celebrity and cinema programming. We are very proud that the high production value and variety of our programmes allow us to maintain this precious partnership and to entertain millions of viewers worldwide.”
