Lithuania blocks pirate sites

The Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission (LRTK) has blocked access to a number of sites that distribute TV content in the country without its permission.
In a statement, it says that the sites in question – www.online-television.net, www.pr2pr.net, www.trefoil.tv, www.sunduk-tv.com and www.sunduk. tv, www.videomore.ru, www.viaway.com, www.rus24.tv, www.lapti.tv – have been acting illegally.
It adds that to impose the block required the prior permission of the Vilnius Regional Administrative Court, which was granted to the regulator on September 12.
