yes and i have a file ".key" , I don't know how to use !

File should have " .ser" extension not " .key"

Hi

I tried to download the latest patch.....but after i press connect I waited but nothing i disconnected then took the power cable out pressed connect and pluged the power wire but again waited for more than 10 min progress does not start.can someone tell me what im not doing right or what can be the reason?thanks

You need a null modem cable not a seriel cable....... and make to choose the file you want to download ...... also yo need to switch off the receiver from the back and then power on again after you have clicked on " connect"

Im using a USB A Male-DB9 Male/Male plus an adoptor to convert the male to female to fit into the receiver......I think what i have to do is to get RS232 Null Modem Cable conected to the USB cable and then to the receiver then it should work.....after i power on from the back do i have to switch it on or leave it on standby?
from my questions you can see that really im still in the stone age......

After you click on connect and power on the receiver it starts downloading automatically
