This is the way to do it:
Load patch 2.38
Master Reset the box
load the channel list
load the softcam
load patch 2.38 again [ this time do not master reset ]

Can one load only the channel list with STBPCToolkit app? I tried to load it into the receiver with this app, but then I get receiver back to sw version 2.43. This is not the meaning I guess. So how to load the channel list from my PC into receiver besides of dl them all from the sattelite?
Unless you are using ac3 equipment or an nds card better to stick to version 2.38 ...... to download the latest channel list you have to use stb editor tool
what's mean MASTER RESET....FACTORY RESET or another...what's about DG I was in holiday from 19 december 'till now---then was OK, now nothing;I used 2.41 but now with 2.43 and 2.44 it's black.HELP!!!!!!

If i go back to 2.38,what will change as far as hotbird is concern.......I mean can u tell me which chanells will be open now?just to c if its worth it..........
Also can u tell me your opinion:do u think we will have some solution in the near future to stop having black screen using our box...or you think that its time to move on and find other solutions???thanks
