Actually, the problem only happens with the keydownload software. STBPCToolkit and CLTemu work fine and ALL the time. They never fail.

Keydownload sometimes works though after much persisting.

I wonder if it's maybe it's the baudrate? Mine is set at 115200 and COM6.

The comport is determined by the pc ......

Yes it's contability problem...... try inserting in a different usb port and try different com port

A couple of questions:

(1) When you're updating the Plaza XT with the STD editor, do the bin files also contain the softcam key data?

Why am I asking? Because when I update channel lists from an older file, the softcam keys don't seem to be current. They seem to be overidden by data from an older bin file.

(2) Does the plaza have a tool for changing skins or colour settings?

The softcam key should only be effected once you update the patch. Well it does'nt harm to update the softcam file after you have loaded a file to your receiver.
