waipu.tv reaches 2 million users

German internet TV platform waipu.tv has doubled its number of registered users within one year to over two million.
75% of customers consider waipu.tv their preferred TV solution, according to a survey of 5,500 active users. They particularly appreciate the recording function and the fact that no additional devices or cables are required for use.
More than 40% of waipu.tv customers are cord cutters: They have fully moved their TV reception from cable or satellite to OTT.
