    Oregan Networks buys Zenterio assets
    October 8, 2019 14.20 Europe/London By Julian Clover
Oregan Networks have acquired the assets from the collapsed Swedish software firm Zenterio.
It’s planned to merge engineering and delivery teams in Linköping, Sweden and Guadalajara, Mexico.
Oregan said it plans to offer “seamless support” to Zenterio’s existing customer base. It’s not known if this includes Deutsche Telekom’s hybrid satellite/IPTV box announced in September 2018.
“As part of the overall industry-wide consolidation to drive greater operational efficiencies and roadmap acceleration, we are pleased to welcome our new team members. The former Zenterio talent further strengthens our expertise in pay-TV systems, whilst offering uninterrupted support to Zenterio’s prominent global customers and partners,” said Oregan CEO Mark Perry.
Further engineering recruitment is planned in the UK, Sweden, Mexico and Eastern Europe.

Expanding its international operations to serve Latin America and the EMEA region, pay-TV solutions provider Oregan Networks has revealed the acquisition in September 2019 of the assets of TV technology and services provider Zenterio AB.

For the last three years Zenterio has focused on being a full-service provider of technology, value added services and consultancy for the TV industry with solutions based on its independent software platform for interactive TV, Zenterio OS.

The acquisition sees Oregan gain and then assimilate Zenterio’s engineering and delivery teams located in Linköping, Sweden and Guadalajara, Mexico.
Oregan sees the purchase as boosting its ability to scale its multiscreen platform innovation and project delivery capabilities, as well as enabling the company to offer support continuity for Zenterio’s existing customer deployments.

“As part of the overall industry-wide consolidation to drive greater operational efficiencies and roadmap acceleration, we are pleased to welcome our new team members,” commented Oregan CEO, Mark Perry. “The former Zenterio talent further strengthens our expertise in pay-TV systems, whilst offering uninterrupted support to Zenterio’s prominent global customers and partners. We are delighted to have expanded our team with colleagues who share our culture of innovation and high-quality service.”
