tested and it is OK , use 3333 on the parental control (current password ) to active emulator.

Hi Xcruiser,

I just purchased the Xcruiser XDSR250. The guy in the shop told me that this reciever can work with Wolfbox and is something like Gbox.......I'm new to all this and although i have read many forums and websites I still can not see the light. Please could you help to explain what i might be able to do with my new toy?

Please can you give me an idiots guide to what I can do with the reciever.

wolfbox is a software that runs on PC and will let you to run sharing facilities. wolfbox can be found on dreambox related topics. by using wolfbox and a sharing account that can be found on the net (you should buy it) your XDSR 250 will be enable to open ..... (you may got the point) XDSR250 is compataible with Gbox protocol.read more about Gbox on the net you will get more information.

Thanx for the reply Xcruiser. Another problem that I'm having is not being able to unscramble the channels for any of the encoded channels on the Deg146E TP. My NAGRA Smartcard is working in my old Xsat box but does not seem to work in the new Xcruiser box. I think it might be a set up problem that I'm having but after 4 days of trying I have nearly given up. The menu system of the XDSR250 Persian box is different to the previous Xcruiser menu's and the manual that came with it is not very specific. Do you have any suggestions to give me as to where I mugh be going wrong? I performed a forced scan of the Deg146 TP and it seemed to acquire all the channels, however when i compared the frequencies of the encripted channels from my Xsat to Xcruiser boxes there were differences, so I then edited one of the TP scan results by in putting the correct frequency, polarisation and Symbol rate (12583, H, 25600) but still can not unscramble these channels. In both cases of the encrypted channel they show the channel name (CNN, BBC World, etc).

Is there a dedicated site where I can find the latest Xcruiser XDSR250 software updates? There are not any for my reciever on this site that i can locate, maybe I need to update the box software or change it from the current one to another that might be more suitable?

Also do you know how to activate the Emmulator on this box? the Parential control and 3333 is not supported and the menu system is different on the XDSR250 compared to earlier Xcruiser boxes.
