Right click on Folder that you want to share and Select Properties => from tab Select Sharing Click Advanced Sharing, Tick on Share this folder and then click on Permissions Select Add click Advanced... Click Find from Drop Down list search for Everyone and Click OK and OK again now in Down Tick on Full Control in Allow click Apply then OK click Apply again and OK Again then Close that's it now you can Connect this Folder with your Receiver

Hi.. I have the xdsr400hd . I don't have a HDTV so I'm testing it on a normal TV. I installed it and everything went perfect until I accidentally pressed "System Restore to factory default". Now my video is totally black and white and it looks kind of inclined.. I don't have any idea about how to make it work perfect again. I tried changing the display resolution and NTCS/PAL settings but it's still the same. It's not a TV problem nor composite cable. Can you please help me?
Update your receiver with Computer and check
When you press menu in your Remote can you see any Changes in Front Panel of Receiver
is it showing Menu etc...
what i want to know is your Receiver is Alive or Dead ?
it is alive.. I can see everything. Menus and all settings. Even the sound is perfect. I can see all channels but Black and White video and kind of inclined.
how do you change Display Resolution and NTSC/PAL when the screen is Black ??
Did you take any backup of your Settings in USB before ??? if yes please Restore it
do you see something like "Video resolution is Not Available" on screen or it's Just Plane Black ?
Check again using Composite and hit Resolution button on remote until you see Picture on Screen
are you using a TV or LCD
if TV then what is Source you use ??
if LCD what source available on it and what source you use ??
it's not plane black. The video is Black and White or Gray Scale. Sorry if I didn't explain very well. I can see everything even video but no color. I changed the RCA cable and even plugged it into the second A/V input on my tv. it's still the same.
I want to try updating it with my pc but how can I do that?
About the video resolution no of them works. 480p - 720p - 576p - 1080p . The 576i doesn't appear . I tried with every resolution but it's still the same.
Im using TV. A normal one.

you can Update software by USB also download the Latest Software in USB and connect USB to Receiver wait till window pop-up press RED button to Start downloading after Download Complete Receiver will Restart
Do not Turn OFF receiver while Updating Software
