Irdeto/Amlogic debut Netflix-integrated STB platform

Irdeto and Amlogic have launched a set-top box platform that is pre-certified under the Netflix Hailstorm Hybrid programme.
The programme is designed by Netflix to reduce the integration time and effort for pay -V operator partners on the Android TV platform.
Commenting on the development, James Xie, senior VP of corporate business strategy, Amlogic, said: “At Amlogic, we have a strong track record of delivering turnkey Android solutions that reduce integration complexity. Our latest hybrid 4K STB solution will help operators bring content services like Netflix to market faster than ever before”.
