Poland’s leading pay-TV operator Cyfrowy Polsat has added new functions to it satellite receivers Evobox HD and Evobox Lite.

According to the company, time shift, catch-up and re-start are now available to its DTH subscribers for no additional charge.

It adds that the functions were introduced following research that showed that 47% of respondents tuned into programmes that were already in progress. Furthermore, almost 40% of Evobox HD users could not watch programmes at the time they were broadcast.

Both Evobox HD and Evobox Lite are proprietary receivers produced by InterPhone Service in Mielce.
