Major expansion for Showmax Pro

The new live streaming service Showmax Pro has expanded to an additional 40 countries in sub-Saharan Africa.

The monthly pricing of Showmax services in these countries is $3.99 for Showmax Mobile, $7.99 for Showmax, $8.99 for Showmax Pro Mobile and $17.99 for Showmax Pro.

Showmax Pro made its debut in Kenya and Nigeria on July 7 and bundles the existing Showmax entertainment service with music channels, news and live sport streaming from SuperSport.

Showmax was launched in August 2015 and is available across sub-Saharan Africa. It began testing sport live streaming in June 2019 and this led to the launch of the Showmax Pro service.
