Global buyers Keeping Faith with APC

As filming on the third season of the BBC/S4C hit drama series resumes post Covid-19, boutique co-producer and distributor About Premium Content (APC) has secured a number of international sales for hit series Keeping Faith.
Keeping Faith Season 2 Lands 4Aug2020
Starring renown Welsh actress Eve Myles (Victoria, Torchwood, Broadchurch), Keeping Faith centres on a woman who discovers the man she loves is a stranger. Faith Howells’ husband leaves for work one day but never arrives, and it becomes apparent that he has been leading a double life. Following this revelation Faith must fight to protect her family and her sanity as she is propelled into a lonely, frantic search in which she discovers as much about her unexplored self as her missing husband.
Parties interested in the new season include MTVA in Hungary and Antena TV Group in Romania which have both picked up rights to all three seasons, while ERR in Estonia and VRT in Dutch-speaking Belgium have picked up season 2. Yes-DBS in Israel, CANAL+ and Ale Kino+ Poland and RTP Portugal have all secured broadcast rights for season 3, which started shooting again this week in Wales after filming was abruptly stopped in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition to the new sales, APC has already extended its co-production deal with Acorn Media Enterprises (AME) for all rights to the third season of the across the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand for AMC Networks’ streaming service Acorn TV, plus home entertainment in the UK and Éire. FOX in Germany has also extended its agreement for season 3 along with TV4 Media which has confirmed the SVOD rights to all three seasons for Denmark, Norway and Sweden and has also picked up the free TV rights for TV4 Sweden.
Produced by Vox Pictures for S4C and BBC Wales and gap-financed by Nevision, Keeping Faith garnered a 20-year ratings’ high when it debuted on BBC Wales and proved to be a record-breaker on BBC iPlayer. In season 3 of Keeping Faith, Eve Myles returns as Faith Howells, alongside Bradley Freegard as Evan Howells and Mark Lewis Jones as Steve Baldini. Olivier award-winning Celia Imrie (Victoria Wood as Seen on TV, Dinnerladies, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) is also joining the cast. The new season is directed by Pip Broughton and Judith Dine, written by Matthew Hall and Pip Broughton, produced by Pip Broughton and Llyr Morus. Filming began in 2020 with episodes expected to air on S4C later this year and on BBC One Wales in early 2021. It will be available across the UK exclusively on the BBC iPlayer.
