“Solid” first half for SES

Satellite operator SES has produced a solid first half that saw growth in its networks division of 7.1% on the year.

The Luxembourg-based business recorded revenues of €947.5 million.

The video business, which brought in €559 million, was flat excluding the impact of Covid-19 on the sports and events business.

Networks recorded €387 million.

The company said subscriber numbers were holding up well in its key neighbourhoods.
